Vision Statement

Our community will be a caring, supportive community in which all people have a sense of belonging and commitment to strengthening assets intentionally and continuously, thereby fostering the development of youth who make wise decisions, choose positive paths, and become competent, caring, and responsible adults.

Mission Statement

The BOAT initiatve will engage members from all facets of the community in building and sustaining a healthy community that actively promotes the planning, implementation, and support of asset-building activities to develop, nurture, and maintain positive aspects in our youth.

Goal and Objectives

>increase the number of youth who perceive our communit as having a caring, supportive, encouraging environment >promote asset develoment so our youth will make wise decisions >create awareness of the asset building initiative >create awareness of the need for the whole community to be involved >educate the different sectors of the community about assets and foster the integration of the asset approach into the daily operation of each community sector

Regular Meetings

Yes, the 3rd Friday morning of every other month beginning in September with special meetings scheduled as needed; we generally do not meet in the summer
