Mission Statement
To prevent and reduce substance abuse and related problems by providing leadership, education, and support to communities and institutions throughout Door county.Goal and Objectives
Coordinate alcohol and other drug prevention programs and resources in our community. Promote alcohol and other drug education programs. Establish and support parent networks. Promote peer leader programs, positive student role models, and drug free youth groups. Provide positive drug free alternative activities for youth. Promote rigorous enforcement of laws relating to substance abuse.Funding Sources
We received a Town Hall meeting grant. We are planning to apply for other grant funding to support a part time staff person. We are also planning to apply for 501(c)3 status as we have had community members interested in supporting our efforts financially. Other community groups have also been helpful for our minor financial needs at this point.Groups Involved
