Mission Statement

Kinship of Burnett County works to improve the quality of a child's life by matching children ages 5-14 with responsible, caring adult volunteer mentors in hopes of promoting stability, support and friendship.

Goal and Objectives

Kinship of Burnett County has the goal of involving the community in our efforts to improve the lives of the children of Burnett County. We have developed an informal network Alliance with several agencies and are working to expand this alliance and make it more formal. A goal for Kinship is to increase regular communication with the other alliance members in order to enhance each agency involved and improve results for each involved, that being the well being of the children of Burnett County.

Regular Meetings

Quarterly Board meetings and informal contact with other agencies of Burnett county on a need by need basis.
